VPN Problem

I set up a VPN/Dial in server. Fwd port 1723 to the local ip of the server. Used Static IP Assignment.

Static IP Assignment
10.0.0.70 --> 10.0.0.79

when i vpn in from home i connect no problem but i am getting some strange IP settings on the client side.

VPN Client gets the following
IP - 10.0.0.70
Subnet - 255.255.255.255
Gateway - blank

I should be getting
IP -10.0.0.70
Subnet - 255.0.0.0
Gateway - 10.0.0.1

Does anyone have any clue why this is happening. I have also tried to use DHCP to assign the vpn client ip settings.

Any help would be great.
