I have a user who is connecting via VPN into a remote network belonging to another company (and hence in a different forest.) Between us and them are, of course, firewalls. I do not block any outbound ports. The VPN connects successfully.
This user is using Windows 2000. He is a member of their domain, and logs into his local machine by using their cached credentials.
When he attempts to map drives, he gets an error 1311: No Login Servers could be found to process your request. If I have him try to use the "Log On Using Dial-Up Connection" box on login, the VPN connects successfully, but the machine hangs at "Loading your Personal Settings..."
Please help!
