I have found bits a pieces, but no definite answers:
I am using Cisco VPN client from home network. My PC (W2k pro) is not joined to the domain I am trying to connect to. My user account on this PC does not match my Active directory account on the domain server.
I can connect using VPN client with no trouble, but have no access to any network resources on the target network. I realize this is because I can't authenticate to AD...and really don't see how I can.
Which part of the equation am I missing. which part of this should I change to allow it work?

Thanks in advance
moog
