I am using Cisco VPN Client 3.6.4 to connect to my work. I have no problems when using a LAN connection, however when I use my wireless connection the speed fluctuates from it's 54mb down to 1mb and back up. I running Windows XP sp1 with the latest MS Security patches on my Dell Latitude D600 laptop with the Intel Pro Set 2200BG wireless adapter and a Netgear WGT624 Wireless router at home. I can not upgrade to Windows XP sp2 at this time because my work is not ready too. This problem started occuring about 2 weeks ago (1/15/05). Prior to this the speed remained constant when I connected to work through the Cisco VPN client. I have updated the firmware to the most current for my Netgear router and also updated to the latest drivers for the Intel Pro 2200BG wireless adapter in my laptop, but the problem persists. Any ideas as to what to try next?
