Hi,

I am trying to access the network of my company using a Dell Latitude, W2K, and a Vodafone Connect Card. My VPN client is the SSH sentinel.

It supports NAT Traversal and I enabled it. Other than that, the settings of the client are the same that I have been using successfully with a conventional modem.

Nontheless, I don't seem to be able to establish any tunnel at all. Vodafone in Germany does have no idea - I'd be really grateful for any hint.

Hi

I am having similar problems in the Uk

Did you manage to resolve this problem. If so it would be greatly appreciated if can help.

Kind regards

Fida

yup, vodafone Germany finally came up with some helped. After we told that sales representative that we would return the card if we couldn't access VPN he gave us the extensions of an expert ... etc.

However, the solution - at least here in Germany - had nothing to do with the configuration on my laptop. Apparantly, vodafone does have different access points:
web.vodafone.de - standard access to the internet NO (!!) VPN
corporate.vodafone.de - VPN only access NO internet
web2.vodafone.de - inofficial test access point, allows to run VPN and internet simultaneously.

Initially, we only got the information about the first server - and VPN did not work. If we use one of the user two, VPN is working just fine.

Don't know whether that applies in any way to the UK and is of any help to you but it at least solved the problem over here.
