Hello,

I am looking to setup VPN at our site. We use NT SERVER 4 and I was wondering what the best method of configuration would be?

Should I look at FIREWALL VPN, Watchguard for example, or just use the client/server approach?

I would like remote users to b eable to access the network for email and database programs.

Thank you for any info.

PC.

From a security perspective you are better to go with something at the perimeter of your network, like a WatchGuard product. You can have the authentication take place on that unit rather than allowing traffic in to your server and authenticating there.

Functionally either will work. You will have access to the full network depending on your configuration.
