I am attempting to install a VPN on a NT server 4.0 that is also running MS Proxy 1.0. I have configured RAS and PPTP and successfully established a client connection via the internet. However, there seems to be some routing issues as I am only able to see the RAS server during the PPTP connection - I am unable to see the rest of the network. In the MS knowledge base, it states that you must make registry entries for each NIC on the server stating 'DontAddDefaultGateway 0x1'. This of course ruins the routing on the Proxy for clients accessing the internet. The article further states that you must add routes to the routing table on the server for each computer on the local lan. I have tried all of this over and over - is it even possible to have a VPN on top of Proxy 1.0? I will be greatly indebted to you for any help you can provide.
Steve
