Isn't this supposed to be a fairly easy implementation? I've tried to do this without much success. Granted - I may be going about this in a "unique" fashion as I'm using one NIC. I can install another - but we are not using NAT - so I didn't think it was necsessary. Basically - when I enable PPTP forwarding on the NIC - it stops working. Would this mean the NIC is not compatible? Am I missing some other configuration? Any feedback is greatly apprciated.

I'm replying to my own thread in case this helps anyone. I managed to setup a VPN on a Windows 2000 machine for an NT environment (with one NIC). Basically, you can follow some of the directions given by Microsoft for implementing this VPN - except when configuring Routing and Remote Access - I chose to do it manuallly as the wizard would not allow me to do what I needed to get done. Doing this manually there's not a lot that has to be configured for a simple setup. Just be aware that in the Remote Access Policies you ned to access the properties of "Allow access if dial-in permission is enabled" and "Grant remote access permission." Hope this can help someone who is stuck.
