Hello!

We are using a Sonic Wall TZ170 for a VPN connection. We are successful at connecting to the SonicWall, but when trying to connect to a program on a server it will not let us unless it is a domain PC. Is there a way to choose a domain or force a domain login once a VPN connection is established with a non domain PC?

Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated! Thanks!

Also, if this isn't possible please let me know.

Alternatively, I could try skipping the domain credentials altogether. We are using the VPN which will bring us into the network at the router level (SonicWall). At that point we just need to access a shared drive on a machine. Can I connect to a shared drive on domain PC with a non-domain machine through this scenario? (Also if not possible, please tell me.)

Thanks all!

I figured it out. After the VPN connection which brings the PC through the firewall, it was a matter of using the IP address to map the share folder. I also edited the hosts file and could then also use the PC name!!
