I have about 10 road warriors who would like to connect to their home office. I was thinking of setting up a Linksys RV042 and the quick vpn client. However, I saw that the quick vpn client requires admin rights for use. Is there a way around this or should I be looking at another product? I would really appreciate any help. Thanks.

What purpose do they need to connect to the homeoffice? File access, application access, email? There are a number of different ways you can handle remote access. You could use an extranet software like Sharepoint, you can use remote desktop, you can use Outlook Web Access if they just need email, contacts, etc.

But if you want to use the VPN and the RV042 you can use the 'run as' command on the VPN client software.

Mainly File Access. I am looking for an IPSec solution for about 20 road warriors. I would appreciate any recommendations on a VPN product.

Is it ADSL??? If so, a Cisco 837 would do great (I am not sure how many concurrent connections it can handle, though), or for up to 50, then an ASA 5505 or Cisco 1800 series router. Great security in the ASA 5505, if you can afford it. Not very expensive for what it can do. I am a Cisco man, by the way...lol
