VPN netgear FVS318

I want to remotly access shares on my home LAN via a remote connection. I have a Netgear FVS318 prosafe firewall acting as my VPN server. Can I connect to this with the Windows 7 VPN client?

Welcome to tek-tips

I have never done this, even though I have an FVS318, I have always used OpenVPN instead. It looks like there are some how to instructions in the netgear forums, but you need to register to the forums to access the information.
