We have several clients logging in to a VPN server via broadband. The server is W2K3 and the clients are fully patched XP PRO SP2 boxes. We can manually connect just fine.

What I'm looking for is a simple script that will handle the log in as part of the boot process. Could be batch or whatever - the simpler the better. We do not have a domain controller - just a simple server.

Anyone got any ideas? I've googled and get so many hits that I get lost. Don't want to become a script expert, just want a simple way to automate log in.

Many thanks!

What protocol? For IPSec, you can buy a linksys router to do the login. For PPTP you can buy a router but it will be a Cisco or higher end.

In the future everything will work...
