Where can I find a list with VPN technologies/architecture etc?

Im doing some research but its hard to find an organised place with information.

Thanks in advance...

may be difficult to find one place. everyone uses different technologies in different ways. there is no 'cookie cutter' for VPN technologies

What it breaks down to is what are uou looking to accopmlish? From there you can further your research.

I'm trying to research a new way for our company to set up remote support through VPN. Its important though that the VPN server is in our network, and the client has to establish the connection from his network (preferably automatic).

Is there a place with information concerning that?
or perhaps documentation of a similar setup?

If your looking to support another location on a per call basis then look at teamviewer.com

The problem with that solution is that you have to run a little application on every client you wanna set the connection too. That wont work.

Well then look at a site to site vpn so check out the Netgear FVS318 Router. Also check out VNC as well.

Site to site wont work either unfortunately, because of the problems with IP shemes. We have to many customers to organise it effectively.

Well without a clear understanding it is difficult to help. If you are supporting many clients at different sites then the teamviewer is your best solution, please look at all it offers. Also look at logmein.com, they offer a lot as well including a VPN client that is free.
