Hello. I have an idea and I was hoping to get some feedback on it.

I was thinking of having a server that accepts VPN connections on 1 interface and routes them all out on a second interface. That way, all VPN traffic would go through the VPN Server/router and appear to ahve originated from it. How possible is this to do?

Perhaps one other way to do it is to assign two IP addresses to the same interface. All traffic coming in on the first is routed to the second.

Secondly, can all traffice be sent over an IPSec VPN connection or is the type of traffic limited?

Any help here on this?

First yes you can setup a VPN server to accept traffic on one interface and route to the second. You can setup a Windows 2000 server to do just that. Secondly, I can't see a reason why you couldn't send all traffic over a IPSec tunnel.

To setup the 2k server check on the microsoft site.
