VPN HTTP access -- OS X and XP have different behaviors

Hi,

I am experiencing some strange behavior. When I connect using the cisco vpn client on windows XP, I am able to make a simple connection to my company's intranet. However, when I do the same on Mac OS X, I cannot see the intranet.

I have searched long and hard to find the answer but have not even found someone with the same problem.

I'm using version 4.9.01.100 for OS X and 5.0.01.0600 on XP.
