I'm setting up a VPN tunnel using Netgear FVS338 at the remote and FVS538 at the host. The VPN sets up, I can ping various devices at the host and also telnet to devices at the host but I can't browse or ftp. I've set up 6 sites the same way with no problem. I took this router to another remote site, changed the wan IP and everything works great. Something appears to be "messing" with my packets and I don't know what to tell Charter Cable to look for. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Check with your provider. If you are not paying for business class access they have probly blocked the IPSec Protocol.

It might be a problem with the MTU being too large.

try to set it to 1300 and see what happens. Certainly with Cisco IPSEC and DSL VPN's that is often the case.

Hi,
I have problem in Cisco VPN Concentrator, I have created one account with mapping to one group. I have enabled filters and network list. I am not able to the ping the ip i have described in the network list. I tried all the options.

Regards,
Vidhu

The customer is set-up for business class and the Charter rep said nothing was being blocked. I've set the MTU size down to 1300 with no change.
