One user working from home at nights has her VPN disconnect randomly and often.
XP on our domain, all updates, windows VPN connection, Qwest. She believes her internet connection is 'hi speed'.
After much questioning, I found out she plugs her Qwest modem using a cat 5 cable into the wall, so Im assuming her house is wired with it, probably has fiber coming in as her Qwest bill is sky hi for her internet connection.
Now, she said shes been pretty good for last week or so, but last nite it started again. So last nite she was on after 10pm our time, which is about the same time T-Storms blew thru....hmmmm...
So now she says her memory got jogged and last time or times she had troubles, we were getting daily t-storms.
Well, is it possible for t-storms to interfere with fiber, dsl, or whatever other internet connection to cause VPN to drop constantly?
