VPN does not work with LINKSYS

My VPN does not seam to work with people who are using a linksys router. I am using the windows VPN client to connect to my network at home. I am using OS X for the vpn server. Anyone with a d-link or other brand of router, the VPN connection works. But anyone with a linksys router, nope, the connection is nogo, and it says that the vpn was dissconected. It says validating username and password, but never regesters the computer on the network. Even with the firewall disabled, it does not work.

Try turning off the 'block Wan request' setting on the linksys routers.

nope that does not work, i hookd an old dlink router up to someone elses network, and it works fine, but not with the linksys.

They should have the same or similar blocking & forwarding capabilities. Specifically, what linksys routers are being used & which firmare version?

i am using a befsx41 with firmware 1.5.18 or the latest version.. i disable everything, foward all the ports.. everything, it does not work.. i am so.. confused on why it does not work..
