I am having a problems setting up a vpn connection thorugh the Linksys (BEFSR81) router with Optonline as my ISP. However, I am able to connect with the same settings and router using Comcast.net as my ISP provider. I beleive Optonline has some port block which is not allow me to connect through PPTP. Has anyone experience this problem???
Is there anyway around it? I would appreciated if someone can help me out.

P.S. I am able to ping WAN IP,which is provided by the linksys router, once I connect to the internet from the client computer.

My Setup:

Router: BEFSR81
Enable: PPTP
ISP Optonline.net
Port Forward: 1723,47,500

Client computer: W2k Professional
VPN Software: W2k VPN setup
Internet: dial up connection

Thank you,
Shawn
