The problem I have is as follows:

When I try create a VPN tunnel via a GPRS dial up I receive an error.

My config is as follows:

Win2k RRAS server using IAS for authentication (NT4 Domain).
Win2k prof laptop with GPRS connection to ISP. Generic windows VPN network connection config.
For the VPN protocol I am using PPTP.

If I dial up with a conventional modem to the ISP, the VPN tunnel connects. However when I try connect via GPRS, the VPN connection hangs on the 'Authenticating User' dialog box. (The GPRS connection itself is fine - I can surf the net etc).

Any ideas??

I'm not sure I can help, bit it looks like we may be having the same problem - see my post "PPTP VPN over o2 gprs" posted today.

Who are your GPRS provider & is there a what firewall are you using?
