VPN connection to home Network thrrough Pix 501.

Hello All,
I would like to be able to access my Home Network using a Windows VPN Client and connect to my PIX 501. First of all, is this possible. I have the PIX 501 directly connected to a cable modem, and I can get all internal computers internet access using my 2003 Server to run the DNS. How should I configure the PIX 501 to allow VPN connections from the outside. Will I be able to browse my LAN ?

I would advice you to use the Cisco VPN client instead, it's more robust and easier to make it work.

I would advise you to use the Cisco VPN client instead, in my opinion is more robust and easier to make ir work. It even has a firewall you can use.

I actually also found the same Cisco link, so I will take your advice and use the Cisco VPN Client.
Will I be able to get a copy of the Client on the Cisco site as well.

You can download the client as long as you have a smartnet contract. Otherwise, you are out of luck
