Kinda of a tough one!!!

I am trying to connect a Cisco 871 router, using PPPOE DSL, to a Nortel Contivity 2700 VPN router. On the Nortel, the connection is an IPSEC tunnel, requiring an Initiator ID and Password. How does one configure this on the Cisco 871? I have searched high and low looking for something, anything that gives some type of indication as to how this is set up and so far I'm stumped!!!

HELP!!!!

Well, it is a site to site vpn. I can give you a lab set up between a PIX and a Cisco 2620...the lab is

PC-PIX-2620-2620---2503(frame-relay)---2620-PC

What you would need is the config from the last 2620 (R3). Email is timandlizh at gmail dot com...unless you want me to post some commands here. I think it would be best to see from both the PIX and the router, so that you know how to do the acl's for interesting traffic.

It is not as tough as it seems. You would do ISAKMP with shared keys, and the tunnel should come up, unless the Nortel wants a remote access vpn client to dial in...that's the only time you use group passwords and keys for the group...
