VPN Connection fails

Hi,
We have users that pptp vpn into our windows 2003 RAS Server. The connection works and dns works etc, the connection can be live for 5 mins, 30 mins ,2 hours then all of a sudden the traffic stops flowing. The connection states that its still live, on the RAS and the client but all routing stops. I have run a test of a continuos ping from an external client and when the connection stops, the ping gets a timeout. Ping and tracert to the RAS Server fails to work and basically the client needs to reset the connection.

Firewall, Client and RAS Server dont appear to show any errors.

Can anyone help?

If you have 2 clients connected does the traffic for them stop at the same time?

It doesn't. Every failure is random. The clients are also connecting from different isp's.

Its bizarre!
