VPN Connection Error

HI everyone,
we have two sites and one of them is set up on Cisco VPN and works fine when trying to connect remotley.

The other site which i have set up the same does not seem to connect.
i get the error :
"Secure VPN Connection Terminated Locally by the client. Reason 413:User Authentication Failed."

i get to the stage where you enter the user name and password then get the error.
When checking the Logs to see how far it gets, i can see it comes to Active Directory Verifies the User details then disappears some where. Can some on help me on this please?

P.S the user account has Remote access enabled

Okay I need some background info here ...

What device are you using as the VPN endpoint?

Are you using RADIUS or are you using DOMAIN authentication? Because you mention AD I suspect it is one of the two.

When I have seen what you're describing here, it was random which accounts it would happen to, but it was consistant in that it would only happen to the same accounts over and over again. A firmware upgrade on my concentrator fixed this. Not upgrade on the VPN client version worked.

am using RADIUS authentication

I have tried logging in via two accounts with administrator privilages, both get the same message. have not tried any other accounts.
