Hiya.

Windows 2003 Server
192.0.125.1
255.255.0.0

Default GW: 192.0.125.254
DNS: 192.0.125.254 & 212.154.192.3

XP Client
192.0.126.200
255.255.0.0
default GW: 192.0.126.250
DNS: 212.154.192.3

I have opened the port 1723 and I'm able to connect to the server with user confirmation etc.

No firewall is on any of the computers.
I try to ping the server IP from client but no respond.

Win2k3 server gives out static ip to client
192.0.125.208

What more settings do I need to do in Win2k3 so that
I can ping the server? And one more thing. When I look
on the client in the connection, there it says that the
server is 192.0.125.200.. cant ping that one as well.

Please someone!

To start....
You have a public address range connected to the Internet, unless your present IP address range was asigned to you by an ISP, you will need to use one of the ranges below.

Private address ranges are

10.0.0.0 through 10.255.255.254
172.16.0.0 10.255.255.254
192.168.0.0 192.168.255.254

I cant do anything about the IP ranges at the moment.

The public IP is 212.158.192.88 the VPN goes through
my router and redirected to 192.0.125.1 which is the server

What shall I change to make my client see the other net?
