Hi there,
I have curently just set up a Win 2000 server and enabled for remote access over the internet.
The server connects to the internet via a ADSL modem and has one Nic, after testing from a remote location I can connect to the server across the internet and browse, print and create files and folders as if I am in the same office as the server.
The machines connected to the server can browse the network and connect to the internet via ICS.
Question:
After doing a keyword search thru the win2000 server forum I keep finding references to the fact that two Nic's are requred for access over a VPN but no real detail as to why, may be there but I never saw it.
Am I ok with my setup or should I realy have two Nic's installed?
Many thanks.....
