I have a Linksys BEFVP41, but want to know which client to use. I would prefer to avoid to use the built-in Win2k/XP client. I know of Sentinel, but I can not find Sentinel 1.3.2 on the net anywhere. What other versions are out there that won't cost me any money? Thanks,

Why exactly would you prefer not to use the Windows client? It's free, fully integrated, generally works well, and did I mention it's free? Would be easier to suggest alternatives if you would say what you like about Sentinel/dislike about Microsoft.

Setting up the configuration for the "free" Microsoft version is a royal pain. I have found countless help files to walk me thru using Sentinel. I guess ease of use is what I am looking for.

I would desperately like to use the Microsoft VPN client to connect my XP PC to my BEFVP41, but I cannot see how it can be done without having to modify the security profiles to set a new IP address every time I want to access the VPN....

The SSH Sentinel product is great, but unfortunately costs more than the BEFVP41 itself..
