VPN client unable to telnet

We have a cisco 3005 concentrator set up for use with VPN clients.We are able to connect to the vpn box and authenticate, but when we try and telnet to the server we want to connect too we are unable to do so, we can ping the server just cant telnet or ftp into it, the firewall is configured to let telnet port 23 through but we still can t connect via the vpn client.Non vpn client can telnet to the server and we can telnet into the vpn concentrator from the client just not from the concentrator through the firewall to the server.

It sounds like you have filters configured on the VPN3005 to stop these connections - is this possible?
