VPN client software

Finally got Netgear VPN software to link to Netgear FVS318 VPN router. Both client and router say connection is made. I can ping the internal ip address of the netgear router, but that is about it. Can not ping other remote ip addresses internal to the vpn router. Can not see any of the other pc's remotely. Netbios option is checked.

Is this when you're vpn'd in?

It looks like your vpn address (192.168.1.71) is in the same subnet as the LAN (192.168.1.0), and is not being excluded from NAT. That will cause this problem. If this were a Cisco router, PIX or ASA, I could tell you how to fix this.
