Hello:

I've understood that a Cisco router can kick off the vpn session on behalf of a certain host(s). Anyone could lead me into some basic configuration on this matter? /links, sample configs/

What scenario would be better (clients having vpn software or router being their upfront)? Or it'd depend on what?

Best regards,

That 10 hosts in a small office (temporary location) be able to access resources from our headquarters.

I was thinking of using a Cisco Router in the SOHO (I do not still decide on what transmission technology to use at to this point (i.e. dsl,isdn,cable-modem?) and make way up to our router's headquarters.

Thank you.

are you the same guy i posted for the ipsec tunnel? that would be your best bet, and you can use any connection type.

Geoff

No I am not, though I'll go and take a look to that post of yours.

Thank you!.
