VPN client not connecting via broadband

Hi,
We use Cisco VPN client 4.6. Some of our users are not able to establish a connection. The firewall on the notebooks is off and they can browse the internet. They have previously used the cllient successfully, but now they are having issues. What should I do?
 
Could be they changed the group username and password thinking it was theirs instead of the individual username and password. Could also from the client in the log settings turn on all to high and the open the log window and watch the progress to see where it dies.
 
Might also uninstall and reinstall with same version or 4.7 that is now available and see if that helps.
