VPN client for Power user Iphonemanager

Hello all, can anyone suggest a router and vpn client software for Iphonemanager? This will be a first for me. Looking for something on the budget side of things as this is for a small office.

Indeed, Power User is just a bundle of the same old licences you always got, there is no "iphonemanager" just Phone Manager lite/Pro or Phone Manager Pro running in Softphone mode which the Power user bundle contains the licences for

Right now the power user license is a new for a couple of licenses.
With 6.0 is just enables those options for a user.

With 6.0 is just enables those options for a user" which is just Avaya forcing you to buy more licences by removing the flexibility you used to get in the current licencing

socalsteve, basically regardles of what Avaya have called it what we are talking about is Phone Manager Pro in voip/softphone mode, for this you need the User CD. But as tlpeter is suggesting it's awful/temperamental at best. You are better of using a 5610 as a VPN phone, it's better anyway and I think cheaper

So tell the customer no, avaya makes it and supports it but it sucks?

It's certainly not the best, but it's because of what it is, it's software and so is subject to problems caused by 1) the Pc itself 2) the audio drivers on the PC 3)the sound card on the PC 4)the headset attached to the sound card 5)Other software on the PC such as skype 6)The choice of VPN client 7) the users internet connection and what else they are doing with it 8)Their router . Basically with a VPN phone you are elimiating most of those and so you are working with known variables i.e a handset and a router and as such they tend to work far better. The choice is yours
