vpn client disconnect (win2k server and sonicwall)

I am connecting to a win2k network with a vpn client (SonicWall VPN not Win2k VPN). If I log into the client machine with Administrator credintials...everything works fine. The problem is, if I log in the the client machine with normal user credentials, the I lose access to server resources after approximately 20 minutes. When this happens, I can still access shared resources on machines other than the server but I can't get anything on the server. To get access to the server again, I have to do a full reboot of the client machine and establish the connection all over again. A simple log off and log on will not work.

Any ideas?
