vpn client cann't establish connection to Contivity 1740 router ..!!

Hi all
we have try to configure Contivity 1740 VPN router on our lab, to be connected with Contivity VPN client.
Interface 1 configured as "Private" with 192.168.42.250
Interface 2 configured as "Public" with 172.16.5.1

we have configure user IPSEC under Profile-->user with UID and password.

we have enable the firewall
On the client we have set IP address "172.16.5.2" for test and then we got authentication failed..!!

any help please
