is there a compatiable VPN client yet for windows 2003??

Have you tried to install Cisco VPN client 4.0 on the 2003 machine? I installed it for a customer and I did no have any problems.

no i havent tried that, i will give it a shot. Have you ever experienced a firewall stopping internal traffic after a remote vpn user disconnects???

No I haven't but does it happen with all versions of VPN client or just one in particular. Can you test with a different VPN client release?

whats strange about the whole thing is that i have never had any problems with it until i changed the domain info on the pix. I had to recompile the ssh key info because when i changed the name it gave me some sort of info about it being invalid. Ive been using the same client for over 6 months and never had a problem until I changed that information. Does that make any sense? Well let me know if you have any more suggestions on it. Thanks, Nathan

If you are using certs and you modify the domain name on the PIX then your cert becomes invalid but it should not block normal outbound traffic. If that is the case it may be an undocumented bug specific to a VPN client release... yesterday I tried to look for one on CCO but I could not find a match. Try to install a different VPN client release and see if it makes any difference.
