VPN - Can't ping remote network.

I've got two FVL328's that I am trying to use to set up a VPN connection from remote office. The remote network is 192.168.1.x and the main office is 192.168.2.x with 255.255.255.0 subnets. Both have external static IP's, and I'm using IPSec. From a computer behind the remote office router (192.168.1.2) I can ping the local side of the main office (192.168.2.6) which seems to indicate the VPN tunnel is working. However, I cannot ping any other computers on that 192.168.2.x network.

What am I missing?

A). You can always ping. Always. Might not give a reply from host, but it will give something. What are you getting when you ping?

B). Just for kicks, try 'tracert xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' replacing the xxx's with the ip you are using for the ping.

C). Tried pinging from the other side?

D). What OS is on the computer you are trying to ping?

Linux, NT, 2k, XP, 9x you name it.

I skipped A-C because I figured it out. What I hadn't mentioned, because I incorrectly thought it irrelevant, was that at the main office, this VPN router is not the default gateway for the network. I made the default gateway on one machine the VFL328, and it worked. The computers must have been replying to the pings back out through the default gateway. So I added a route to the VPN router on the machines I wanted replies from, and it's working.
