VPN Behind a Firewall

Right now our VPN server is wide open on the internet. One network interface points to the router and the other interface points to the LAN. If I wanted to put the VPN server behind our firewall, what would it take to be acessible from the internet? Simply setting up port forwards in our firewall?
 
Assuming the firewall is PPTP pass through, you need to open TCP port 1723. This search result may help,
