I have a VPN set up for a customer that is working flawlessly everywhere except at his home. The server is Win 2000 Server, the problem station is XP Pro. I have XP Pro at home which works fine, as does a Win 2000 Pro on my laptop. The problem is this, he logs into the VPN no problem, but when trying to access a share (i.e. \\server\share) it prompts for username & password and doesn't accept anything I put in. I know the issue is not his Linksys, as I can connect and access shares from his location with the laptop running Win 2K. I am now thinking that he might not be running netbios over TCP/IP, so could that be it? I am probably going to go there and VNC into my computer to compare settings. I had previously thought it was something to do with using that goofy welcome screen and having fast user switching enabled, but I took that off to no avail. Any quick advice would be appreciated, as I am going there today and I don't want to look like an idiot!!
Thanks in advance!
