Alright, I'm running Windows XP Professional and i'm trying to setup a VPN behind my router. I used the "New Connection Wizard" and got the connection created properly. The VPN also works if I attempt to connect from inside my local LAN.
The issue is when I attempt to connect from another network outside my LAN (i.e. Work). I can connect to the VPN correctly, but then the connection hangs on the "Verifying username and password" screen. After about 30 seconds, the connection times out and responds with "Error 721: Remote computer did not respond". It's only when I connect from outside my LAN that this error occurs.
I'm forwarding port 1723 to the computer that is hosting the VPN server and i'm using a linksys WRT54G router that has built-in support for VPNs.

Yeah, that's turned off. I was talking to Linksys support and changed my MTU to 1400 as well. I got disconnected though so i'm currently waiting to get back into a chat with them...
