I have windows server 2003 and everything is set-up DNS, DHCP, etc....I am trying the vpn just for grins. I am able establish a connection to the server but when trying the username and password in the AD; it tells me that it is incorrect even though I have triple checked the username and password. I am logging in with:
user: user
password: 1234

Any ideas?

I have tried the administrator account. The error is and username and password error. I have even tried the Username: Administrator@domain.net but still get the same. The dialog says:

"Windows was unable to connect to the network using the name and password you provided. Please re-enter the user name and password.

You can enter a domain name or leave the domain fild empty."

Then gives the fields:
Username:
Password:
Domain:

And that is it.

Found the problem. Tried like so and works for all users:

Username: User@domain.com
Password: 1234
Domain: (BLANK)
