VPN and Netgear DG824M Router

Please help, I am not a networking expert, and am now totally stuck.

I cannot connect to my corporate VPN via my router, it works on a dial up ADSL modem. I guess I will need to setup some port forwarding, but have no idea what ports.

O/S is XP-Pro, running Check Point VPN-1 Version 4.1 SP-4 DES Build number 4188.

Encryption scheme is FWZ.

Sorry if this all seems a bit vague, but as I said, I am no networking expert.
