This is actually weird... and I'm surprised it wasn't working....

I have a fellow associate I work with who was working from home. She remoted in via VPN.... (keep in mind... the VPN servier is on VLAN1 and DHCP is managed off of VLAN1 (default VLAN) so when a client connects via VPN, they are on a 10.10.2.x subnet...... She was able to see servers/workstations via Remote Desktop (RDP) however, she was unable to see other VLANS... ex. via IP and name resolution, she could NOT use RDP to remote into her workstation. I think I know what the problem is.... it's a routing issue..... but I do not know where to look to resolve it.... I'm thinking it's a static entry in the routing table of the VPN server (using MS PPTP for VPN coonection.... I already have trunking enabled on ALL VLANS to see one another.....so again, this is where I feel I must investige more on..... If I'm correct, how the heck to I make the enty.... I tried it yesterday, but didn't think I made the correct entry... I know you add the network and sn mask.... the VLAN I want the VPN user to see is network 10.21.26.0 mask 255.255.254.0.... I hope this is enough info....
VLAN 1 is as follows 10.10.0.0 255.255.0.0
thanks

yes, that is routng issue. To test it, use route command to add VLAN. Also remember the remote site need sto know how to return. This links may help,

Could you post the exact route in an example.... I apologize, I'm a novice when it comes to doing static routes. I'm assuming the sstatic route will take place on the VPN server static route table? am I correct?

VLAN 1 (VPN CLIENT) 10.10.2.x
VLAN 26 (want VPN user to connect to) 10.21.26.x

thanks
