I have configured VPN access to my firewall for Dial-in, all authentication works, and if I try to ping or connect to my internal mail server it prompts me to put in my username and Password but doesn;t connect just times out, the ping always comes back unreachable but looking in Log Viewer it seems to be connecting me fine.

The Rule I have is

Source Destination Service Action
Vpns@Any Internal Net Any Session Auth
Firewall Gateway

Is there something I am missing to enable me to connect and ping, please help

I found I had to separate the networks in the ruleset to get this working. ie rather than

Source Destination Service Action
Vpns@Any Internal Net Any Session Auth

I used:
int_net remote_net any
remote_net int_net any

where int_net was my internal network and remote_net the other vpn endpoint

Try that and let me know..
