Hi, is it possible to create a vpn between two sites and have the pc's at both sites on one subnet.

The reason being is I have a backup server on my 2nd site which kicks in when server at site one (using NSI Double Take) is down. This backup server spoofs the ip address of server at site1, so i need all clients to be able to seemless connect to the server, which means it needs to be on same subnet, if this is possible?

thanks alot.

As long as your vpn device allows it (can do it) yes.
To find out if your device supports it you can search (or call support) for terms such as VPN Subnet Overlap or IP Overlap or hiding vpn subnet.

Note: If you end up calling your device manufacturer for support be prepared for people that have no idea what you are talking about. I suggest you ask for a level three technician or a supervisor right away.
