Have vista 64bit client and believe you cant use the vpn client ,or ANYCONNECT

could I use standard pptp or is there a better way ?

need more info about what you are trying to accomplish. what vpn client are you asking about? the cisco vpn client?

Well I haven't tried it, but you should be able to use Vista's built in IPSEC capabilities to create a vpn connection to your cisco.
