I'm doing some tests with Virtual PC 2007 running Windows XP on Vista Business or Ultimate Laptops. Because we have several applications that won't run on Vista, where looking for a solution. I've already tried dual Boot, and that works fine. But now i'm looking for other options.
Within the XP Virtual machine, I've installed Office 2007 and some older Navison clients (Nowadays Microsoft Business Solutions - Navision). I've tested two possibilities.
1. Using the laptop network Broadcom adapter as a networking adapter. After I configured this, Outlook2007 repeatedly lost its connection with Exchange, and the Navision Clients lost connection with theire server.
2. When Using Shared Networking (NAT), the connection was reliable, but very very slow. Not workable slow.
Even after disabling the firewall, still the same result.
Does anyone now about this problem, even with other applications? And is there a solution?
