Hi,

Can some one let me know what is the command to know the size of a vpath device. I have got some vpath disks assigned by my SAN team to one of my servers. I wanted to see the size of the device myself instead of asking them.

Any command to know this

TIA

If you have cfgmgr'd the vpath devices you should be able to do an lsess to get more info on the hdisks and lssdd to get more info on the vpaths. Both should give you the size info.

If the size info stays blank (sometimes happens), then put the vpaths in a new volumegroup and get the size from lsvg & lspv.
