VP206 won't hang up

Hi all-

Have the VP206, version 2.021. It won't hang up after a call. I always get a beep-beep-beep sort of dial tone and can't make outgoing calls. I can get into the system listen to messages and program the mailboxes, but can't force a disconnect.

Please advise! Thanks.

I think you may have a defective unit...

Actually, I have never seen a TOTALLY defective unit. Just quirky things. Programming problem???
