I have just bought a 3DFX Voodoo 4500 PCI(old stock £40) as I had 8Mb onboard AGP (disabled). I was planning On upgrading my mobo+chip soon to an Abit + Athlon and really just wanted to use this card to get me going with my new hardware as I wont be able to afford a new video card too. But I have read somewhere about the Voodoo card possibly requiring more power to run than PCI would handle on an Abit board, If anyone has any comments it would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

The v4 is a great card. You run a 300w PS with the althon away. I ran a V4/althon for a year, no problems. try using the V4/5 drivers also.
