You didn't give much info. But mr being gracefull and all... 
I think it's a bug in the ATI drivers. I heard of something (I think in the Q3 demo instrctions) about it. See if there is a updated driver for your ATI.
Also do you by any chance have a set of speakers, subwoofer, modem, or any other magnetic device near your moniter?
